It got out of hand.
A few years ago we were swapping drafts in a group chat — rainy-street photos, bad ferry schedules, type samples nobody else cared about. The folder kept growing. Eventually it made more sense to put the work somewhere public than to keep digging through message history.
That’s this site. Not a lifestyle brand. Not a “content hub.” Just the pieces we would have sent each other anyway: a coastal walk that was worth the wrong turn, a market frame that almost got deleted, a layout note that started as a sticky on a monitor.
Who writes here
Posts are written by operators in the CMS. When someone publishes, they show up on the authors page. To browse by topic, start with categories.
What we won’t do
We don’t publish listicles written to chase a keyword. We don’t pretend a hotel paid for a glowing review when it didn’t. When a post includes an affiliate link or an ad partner, we say so in plain language. If something we wrote ages badly, we fix it or mark it — we don’t leave a stale page ranking forever and hope nobody notices.
If you want to write
We’re small on purpose. Guest pieces happen when someone already lives the subject — you’ve walked the trail, cooked the dish, shipped the layout — and can write like a person, not a press kit. Pitch something specific. Vague “I can write travel content” emails go nowhere.

Wrong fact, broken image, a route we should try, or you just finished a piece and have thoughts — send a note. Someone actually opens those.
